The park seems to be designed with flowerbeds and conceived with an ornamental intent, but also as dendrological collection. In the flat part around the Villa, the garden appears well maintained and with a monumental appearance given by the majestic trees (such as plane, lime, and evergreen oak trees).
In addition, the minor decorations are discreet and scenographic thanks to the arrangement of the larger trees on the background at the boundary of the property. An important majestic plane tree in good vegetative condition despite the age dominates everything. It is the proof that trees can become monumental subjects over the years if periodical pruning does not traumatise them. Two other big plane trees and three horse chestnut trees.
The part sloped towards the valley is thickset and full of various species and sizes of trees: with growth and ageing of the plants, this part has developed the aspect of a thick wood. The excessive plant density and the growth of the plants have conditioned the development of important species such as sequoias and the visibility of lime and horse chestnut trees: in the end species that tolerate shade such as the evergreen oak and bay trees prevailed.
The design of the flowerbeds and pathways of this area evidences that there was no intention of creating a wood, but an articulated structure with distinct groups of trees visibly perceivable at aesthetic level.
